Jay surrendered to Jesus on April 19 th , 1999 and was baptized on April 25 th 1999 at North Anderson CHOG under the Pastorate of Jim Lyon. Jay’s life was forever changed eternally but also in the miraculous deliverance from his addiction to Alcohol. Jay knew God was preparing him for a specific call to ministry and has been working out this call ever since. Beginning in 2000-2001 Jay began to study and prepare through the guidance of spiritual mentors and the Holy Spirit’s leading. To date: Jay has spoken to hundreds of thousands of people through his various ministry outlets and while pastoring a large independent church in Pendleton, IN. Jay facilitated over 240 baptisms in 5 ½ years.
Jay is an evangelist/teacher whom God has gifted to reach millions with the good news of the Gospel. Jay is working on his 4 th book that focuses on the future of the modern church and how to address a diminishing credibility, identity, and influence. Jay’s passion for his new book, came from the inspiration he received while attending the “Summer Institute for Reconciliation” in 2016. Racial reconciliation within the Body of Christ is the focus of his heart for the book as well as for the Church!
Jay’s theology is rooted in the Church of God movement (Anderson, IN.) and is missional at its core. There are three essentials for Jay in Kingdom work…
- Well-rounded contextual scripture teaching.
- Revealing God’s Presence in Every-day Living.
